Even though FIAL will provide students with the latest digital tools in the fashion and textile industry. Our pedagogic approach is linked to the Socratic method, designed to unleash the critical thinker in each student and empower them in the real world of problem-solving.
Students must familiarize themselves with the professional environment they will enter upon obtaining their high certificates or diplomas. To facilitate this, FIAL integrates knowledge-based and practical modules, taught concurrently by lecturers and facilitators. This dual approach ensures that theoretical knowledge is effectively translated into tangible, comprehensible products by the end of the learning process. FIAL focuses on teaching students through professional software, rather than simplified learning versions with limited tools. This approach is designed to make it easy for our learners to take their work files into the workplace.
Professional Immersive Learning for Future Leaders
Each of our campuses is linked to a state-of-the-art multi-skill factory owned by FIAL's mother company which is fully operational for commercial use. In addition, after rigorous evaluation, validation, and accreditation, FIAL students will have access to several companies in which students can acquire compulsory work experience.
This ensures that students work alongside experienced fashion designers and highly skilled garment producers. FIAL students are challenged to solve problem that occur on the factory on a daily basis while learning how to develop new tools to enhance the quality of the product and to increase productivity.
Throughout the academic year, students are encouraged to participate in leadership workshops organised by FIAL and to engage with industry leaders from various sectors. FIAL believes that possessing high-quality skills, while crucial, is not solely sufficient for successful industrialization. Exposure to diverse leadership perspectives and industry insights is integral to shaping well-rounded professionals who can contribute significantly to the industry's evolution.
